A native of Kings Mountain, N.C., she was the wife of David L. Dickson and daughter of Dorcas Bell Proctor Borders and the late Charlie Andrell Borders. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a retired secretary from Stein Services.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mothers are a daughter, Tanny Humphries Hambright of Blacksburg; three brothers, J.C. Borders, Charles Borders and Jerry Borders, all of Blacksburg; three sisters, Sue Hames and Mary Morgan of Blacksburg and Doris Whisnant of Kings Mountain; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Dickson was preceded in death by a son, James Britt Humphries.
Graveside services will be held at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. be at the residence.
