Wini Swinford was an Atlanta native, daughter of Joel B. and Mettie Paris.
She was married to Charles G. Swinford, who preceded her in death in 1959.
She is survived by her son, Charles Michael Swinford, grandson, Charles Michael Swinford Jr., and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, mainly in old Milton County. Mrs. Swinford was a lifelong Baptist, and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, Atlanta, and the Pioneer Class until she died. Her faith was strong and steadfast, and her church was the center of many of her activities, and of her life. Another of her loves was gardening and flower arranging, and she taught classes in those areas. She loved to work with her flowers.
She will be buried at Westview Cemetery.
