His parents were Joseph W. Kane and Louise O. Kane. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Kane. One daughter, Corinne and one granddaughter, Kailani, both of New York City, survive him.
Thomas attended Holy Innocents School, St. Anthony High School, Long Beach City College, and California State University Long Beach and was a longtime Long Beach resident.
Thomas was a Vietnam veteran, ranked Sargent, before his honorable discharge in 1969. He returned from military service, then worked many years in the construction industry in both Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Graveside Service will be held at All Souls Cemetery, 4400 Cherry Ave, Long Beach on Friday February 28 at 1:00 p.m.
