MARY BETH'S OBITUARY
Mary Beth Lambert, 59, of Franklin, WV went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Lavender Fields Assisted Living at Beverly, WV.

She was born July 27, 1960 at Harrisonburg, VA and was the daughter of the late Stanley “Lewis” Craig (1930 – 2007) and Doris “Elaine” Eye Craig (1933 – 2008).

Mary Beth was a 1978 graduate of Franklin High School, where she was President of the Senior Class and was active in 4-H. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from Bridgewater College, and was a dedicated teacher of math, physics, algebra and geometry for two years at Petersburg High School and thirty-two years at Franklin High School/Pendleton County High School before her retirement in 2016. Mrs. Lambert enjoyed sharing her love for math, and devoted many additional hours helping those students who were struggling or needed extra attention. She and her family also owned and operated Long Mountain General Store, Brandywine General Store and Lambert Poultry Farms. For many years, she was a devoted member of Franklin United Methodist Church, and in later years, Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She had a passion for cooking and baking for her family and friends, and was most well known for her scones. She was a loving and caring wife and mother, and her best memories were of times she spent with her sons. She was their number one fan when they played baseball and football, rarely missing their games. Her beautiful smile, positive disposition and infectious laughter will be missed.

On June 24, 1989 she married Mark Lambert, who survives.
