Joseph “Jay” Ledlie Adams 72, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at the hospital in Denison, Texas. He was born on August 1, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas to the late Joseph L. Adams II and Jim Ellen Wells Adams. Jay was raised in San Angelo, Texas and graduated from Central High School in 1964. He graduated in 1968 from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas before serving in the United States Army for 2 1/2 years. In 1975 he graduated from the Angelo State University in San Angel and in 1976 he graduated from U.T. Southwestern Graduate School in Dallas, Texas. Jay earned his Doctor of Osteopathy in 1984 from T.C.O. M. in Ft. Worth, Texas. He started his medical practice at the Kingston Clinic in Kingston in August 1986 and retired January 2016.
He is survived by:
Wife of 44 years: Bridget Ann Adams, Kingston, Oklahoma
Brothers: James T. Adams and wife Cathy,
5 Nieces and 1 Nephew.
