Mr Andrew C Babb, age 78, of Flippen, Ga, died Oct 3, 1974. Surviving are wife; daughter, Mrs Lamar Berry; sons, Mr Wesley Babb, Mr Robert A Babb, all of McDonough; Mr John C Babb, Chamblee; brother, Mr Ernie P Babb, Mountain View; sisters, Mrs Jack Hood, Mountain View; Mrs Roy Foster, Morrow; Mrs Roy Stanley, East Point; Mrs Wyman Carmichael, McDonough; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, Oct 5, at 3 o'clock from Flippen United Methodist Church with the remains placed in state at 2:30. Rev Scobie Branson and Rev Hoyt Jenkins will officiate. Interment, Flippen Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and please meet at the church at 2:45. D T Carmichael & Son, Inc.
