She was a homemaker and member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Bentley; and two sons, John William Bentley and Eldridge Bentley. Survivors include her children, John Edward Bentley, Ellen Underwood, Darrell Bentley (Edna), and Renae Gable (Danny); daughter-in-law, Bonnie Bentley; half sister, LouElla Ragsdale; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
