He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Margaret Bentley; daughter, Felicia Ann Bentley; son, Charlie Bentley and brothers, John William Bentley and Eldridge Bentley. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Edna Bentley; daughter, Darlene Thurmond; grandchildren, Billy, Felicia and Trinity; siblings, John Edward Bentley, Ruth Ellen Underwood and Renee Gable.
