195 Sergeant James Strang, 4th Contingent, Queensland Imperial Bushmen. From Dalby, Western Downs, Queensland, Australia. Served in South Africa during the Second Anglo Boer War 1899-1902. Seriously wounded at Houtkraal, on the railway line about 30km North of De Aar, Northern Cape, South Africa on 13 Feb 1901. Died of his wounds 3 days later.
