Gloria Jean Harmon would like to let you know her work here is done; and on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, she answered a call from the Lord that she could not refuse.

Gloria was born on September 23, 1931, to Ollie and Henry Haley, in Wink, Texas and spent her childhood in Irving, Texas. Gloria was a member of Church of Christ in Wills Point, marrying the love of her life, Jim Harmon, on February 12, 1953. Gloria enjoyed being a beekeeper, gardening, and had a love for playing the violin and sewing. She was quite adventurous, enjoying snow skiing and traveling to the coast. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Organizations she was a part of were American Cancer Society, East Texas Bee Keeping Association, and North Texas Bee Keeping Association.

To cherish her memories, Gloria leaves behind her loving husband, Jim Harmon, of Wills Point; son, Jimmy Harmon and Jennifer McClarry of Rockwall; grandchildren, Lacey and Ethan Harmon; great grandchildren, Haley Cohee, Isabella Downs, and Avah Johnson; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Douglas Harmon and Gregory Harmon; and sister, Laverne Miller.

We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, and her love for life with family and friends on Monday, February 24, 2020, at 10:00AM. Visitation will be held at the Church of Christ in Wills Point and the Funeral Service following directly at 11:00AM.

Graveside services will be held in Irving, Texas, at Oak Grove Memorial Garden at 3:00PM on Monday, February 24, 2020.

Arrangements are under the care of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas.
