Mr. John David Roe, age 64, of Lambert Branch, Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

He was born February 25, 1955, in Richland County, Ohio, a son of Lillie Lambert Roe of Vanceburg, Kentucky, and the late John Roe.

John enjoyed life and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Roe Stone.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by three sons, James Roe of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Austin Roe of Washington State and Michael Roe of Portsmouth, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Bud Roe (Teresa) of Vanceburg, Kentucky; and two sisters, Geneva Rowe (Roger) and Patty Osborne (Danny), all of Vanceburg, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison, Kentucky, with Brother Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Richardson Cemetery in Lewis County, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue, Garrison, Kentucky 41141.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
