Ben was born March 22, 1938, to George and Ruth Benjamin. On March 27, 1959, Ben married his sweetheart, Penny. He was a devoted husband, dad, and grandfather. He was a 20-year Navy veteran earning the rank of avionics technician chief, before retiring. After retiring, he established Benjamin's Machinery, which he continued to operate from 1984 until his death.
