Janice I. Lee, age 84, of Conable Way in Warsaw, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at the Erie County Medical Center. Janice was born in Warsaw, July 27, 1935, the daughter of the late Frederick Martin and Elizabeth Sherman. After Graduating from Catherine McCauley School of Nursing in 1970, Janice worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Wyoming County Community Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting clothing to be donated to the children's hospital. Janice was a good cook and liked to travel the country visiting her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandson; Eric Mehlenbacher.
Janice is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Kenneth R. Lee, whom she married in 1952; three daughters, Loretta A. (David) Potashnick of Orland, Florida, Valerie J. (Kenneth) Lewis of Stephanville, Texas, Elizabeth R. (Jeffery) Tiede of Warsaw; two sons, Steven P. (Susan) Lee of Warsaw, Donald F. (Hattie) Lee of Perry; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Simba. Burial will be private in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Perry Center.
