Everett William Dickey of Hanover, Michigan passed away on February 12, 2020 at Drew’s Country Living. He was born on July 18, 1919 in Montpelier, Ohio to E. Paul and Ima (Oosterout) Dickey.

He is survived by two children, David (Laura) Dickey and Marilyn (Den) Karrow; three grandchildren, Amy (Robert) Hinderer, Angela (CW) Kennedy, and Janelle Karrow; four great grandchildren, Joy Kennedy, Makenzie Kennedy, Alyssa Hinderer, and Breanna Hinderer; and one brother, Donald (Marj) Dickey.

Everett was preceded in passing by his parents; his wife, Doris; one son, Alan Dickey and one sister, Margaret Clifton.

Mr. Dickey was a member of the Hanover Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army and was a Purple Heart recipient during W.W.II. in Anzio, Italy. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, but mostly spending time with his family.

A funeral service to honor Everett William Dickey will be held at Hanover Baptist Church on Monday, February 17, 2020 beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Robert Shevy officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at the Horton Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, February 16th from 2:00 until 5:00 P.M. at the church. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Hanover Baptist Church.
