Victim of Stomach Influenza - Funeral Set for Sunday

LATAH, Wash., May 28 - (Special) - Daniel Michel, prominent Latah citizen, died at his home here Thursday night of stomach influenza at the age of 69 years. He was born at Brienz, Switzerland. He resided near Sharon for some years, then moved on a ranch near Latah. About eight years ago he retired and moved to town.

He leaves, besides his wife, three sons and three daguthers, Fred and Jake Michel and Mrs. Earl Helmer, all of Latah, Mrs. A. L. Wolf of Tekow, Miss Esther Michel of Spokane and William Michel of Vacaville, Cal. He also leaves two brothers, George of Donnybrook, N.D., and Mike of Wabasco, Minn., also three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Reeck of Spokane, Mrs. Peter Kienholz of Edwall and Mrs. E. E. Kienholz of Moscow, Idaho.

Funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at the Evangelical church with interment in the Evangelical cemetery.
