Judith Ann “Judy” Barton passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Judy was born in Ridgeley, WV, to Wilber and Nellie Collins on August 2, 1937. She was a graduate of Ridgeley High School, as well as Catherman’s Business School.

She spent her entire working career as the office manager for Whitehead Outdoor Advertising, retiring from there after 30 years in 1994.

After retirement, she spent her time wintering to her home in Florida with her beloved husband, John, gardening, and kindly loving her grandchildren, Jennifer, Tara, Johnny, Mathew, and Jonna.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Barton, as well as her brother, William “Bill” Collins.

She is survived by her partner, Jack Stankan of Bedford, PA; her son, Mark Schartiger and wife Cindy of Cumberland, MD; daughter, Debra Beaver and husband Fred of Chestertown, MD; her brother, Jerry Frantz and wife Vicki of Short Gap, WV; her “Grands” grandchildren, Jennifer Tosten and husband Corey, Tara Moessner and husband Daniel, Johnny Haines and husband Patrick, Mathew Schartiger and wife Cecelia, and Jonna Schartiger and partner Cody Calp.
