Mary “Kathleen” Woodall, age 77, of Skyline, Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital in Alabama. She was born October 14, 1942, to Alice and Posey Houk.
Kathleen’s family was her world. She enjoyed singing and playing her guitar for her children and grandchildren. Kathleen had a heart of gold and always knew how to make others smile, often placing their needs before her own. Kathleen’s smile could brighten any room and is something that will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her. Kathleen loved the country life surrounded by her animals. Kathleen also enjoyed meeting new people as well as connecting with her longtime friends she made while at the Madison County Farmer’s Market.

Kathleen is survived by her children: Michael (Tony) and Monica Woodall, Terry and Cindy Woodall, Cindy and Jerry Walls, Connie and Tim Buckner, and Alesia (Lisa) Holman and Marty Culver. Her grandchildren: Lara and Zachery Fowler, Tonya and Michael Direnzo, Caleb and Taylor Woodall, Nathan Jones,Cassidy and Mallory Woodall, April and Nathaniel Hughes, Susie and Adam Stiles, Summer and Mason Gaines, and Cory and Kim Holman. Her Great Grandchildren: Courtney Clardy and Eliah Fowler, Addison and Madelyn Direnzo, Riley and Hayden Woodall, Cameron and Chandler, and Cerenity Jones, Keele Collins and Landon and Jordan Guest, Grayson Woodall, Taylor and Macy and Kaylee McAllister and Isabella and Elena Hughes, Sebastian, Arianna, Jayden Gilbert and Cooper Stiles, and Laycie Holman.

Kathleen was proceeded in death by: her husband E.J. Woodall, her parents Alice and Posey Houk, her brothers Glenn, Hershel, and Harold Houk, her sisters Irene Phillips, Oslene Hill, and Lorene Ridgeway, and her granddaughter LaBrista Little.
Kathleen’s celebration of life will be Friday, February 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Solid Rock Church. Burial will follow at Prince Cemetery in Bailey Town. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church.
