The Lawrence Mail, Bedford Indiana Feb. 21, 1890: Died--Monday night at 8 o'clock, of cancer, Louis Younger, in his 89th year. He was born in Kentucky, but had lived in Lawrence County since its early settlement. He was one of three brothers who settled here, the others being Garrett and Stever Younger. Mr. Younger died at the residence of his son, W.P. Younger, near Erie. The remains were buried at Leatherwood church, Eld. J.W. Newland officiating.
