Perry Younger, one of the best known farmers of Lawrence Co., died at this home 6 miles east of the city, Sunday morning at 8 o'oclock of paralysis. Mr. Younger was 80 years of age and for the past 50 years had resided on the farm where his death occurred. Saturday noon he suffered a stroke of paralysis from which he never recovered. He was a devout member of the Church of Christ and had been an elder in the Leatherwood church for 40 years. He is survived by 10 children, all grown, and several brothers. The funeral occurred Tuesday noon from the Leatherwood church in charge of Elder Porter. Bedford Weekly Mail Jan.24, 1908. (W.P. was married first to Deliah,then Elvira and finally, Phelicya Younger. W.P. was left widowed in each of his marriages.)
