Notes***
Abraham Strickler, son of Strickler of Egypt in Massanutten, was born about 1765, and is believed to be buried here. We know that he owned and lived in the old log house just above the graveyard.

This branch of Stricklers descends from Abraham Strickler, the pioneer Strickler, who came to Virginia about 1726-1730 and purchased 1000 acres from Jacob Stover.

This is a privately owned graveyard and is in an open field with no fence around it. Many of the stones have been knocked down by cattle. Quite a few people were buried here. Most of the stones are round sandstones with no names or dates.
