Slocomb, AL, passed away on Saturday,
March 5, 2005, at Flowers Hospital after an extended
illness. She was 75.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb
with Rev. Wendall Homes and Rev. Hosea Parker
Officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery
with Sorrels Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home
Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. At all other times
the family will be at the home of a daughter,
Mrs. Paula Hawkins, Malvern Alabama.
Mrs. Williford was born September 25, 1925
in Geneva County, Alabama. She was of the Baptist faith.
Her husband, Kermit Williford, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-laws;
Barbara and Warner Rabon of Midland City, AL,
Paula and Dr. Jerry Hawkins of Malvern AL,
one son, Dwight and Malinda Williford of
Slocomb AL. one grandson; David Hawkins
of Malvern AL. and numerous other relatives.
