Survivors include a son, Grant Adams of Riverhead; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Prudent of Riverhead; five brothers, Ulysses, Bryan and Grover Adams of East Hampton; Dr. Lewis Adams of Brooklyn, and Dewey Adams of New York City; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25 with the Rev. Harold T. Bienz, rector of the Grace Episcopal Church, Riverhead, officiating. Burial was in Riverhead Cemetery.
