Brogley, Maynard J.
MADISON- Maynard J. Brogley, age 80, of 3024 Packers Ave., died at a local hospital. He was born on February 24, 1904 in Platteville, Wisconsin. He had worked for the Madison Dairy Produce company for 25 years, and later for Champion Engines, retiring in 1969. He married the former Nettie Kaster on September 27, 1924, and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in September. Mr. Brogley was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and Hiram Masonic Lodge Number 50. Survivors include his wife, Nettie; a son, Jack of Madison; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Klongland of Madison; two grandsons, Richard Klongland of Madison, and Randall Klongland of Beardstown, Illinois; five great grandchildren; one brother, Lyle of Moline, Illinois; and two sisters, Georgia Crowther of Platteville, Wisconsin and Ruth Cordes of Flint, Michigan. Funeral services will be at the GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, with Reverend William Gary Kobs officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call (time unreadable) on Sunday at the funeral home.
