Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband, John F. Carroll Jr., whom she married on May 28, 1955, in the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester; sister, Margaret and brother, Raymond.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen, Sharon, Kevin (Angelina), Susan (Randy Foote) Carroll; grandchildren, Steven, Kaitlyn, Anthony, Christian, Karime, Kevin Jr, Erik, Stefeni (Ozzy); great-grandchildren, Mya, Jeramy, John, Liliana, and Matthew; brother, James (Annetta) Nagell; several nieces and nephews.

Shirley will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, from 4 to 7 PM, at the Paul W. Harris Funeral Home. Friends are invited to meet the family on Wednesday, February 12, at 11 AM, in Saint Kateri at the Saint Thomas the Apostle Church for her Funeral Mass. Interment in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Saint Kateri at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church 4536 Saint Paul Boulevard Rochester, New York 14617 or to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm 99 Victor Road Fairport, New York 14450.
