Donna had a huge, giving heart that showed outwardly in her service to the community. Donna was a volunteer Girl and Boy Scout Leader, a Rebekah Sister, a Vista Volunteer, and a youth group leader at Bethel United Methodist Church. Along with her husband, Donna helped to start a Volunteer Fire Department in Indian Hills where they were members for over 10 years. Donna was also one of the founding members of Bethel Storehouse after she and other community members set out to help a family that lost everything in a house fire.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Lovina (McKenzie) Stanley; husband, William Luchau and brother, Robert Stanley.
Those left behind to mourn are her son, David Luchau and wife Wendy; daughter, Brenda Robertson and husband Sean; grandchildren, Briana, Cori, James and Troy and her great-grandchildren, Brycen, Kinsley and Lyla.
She cherished her family with all her heart. She was an amazing, loving and unselfish person, she had a strong faith and lived it in her daily life. In recent years, it was challenging for her to move around yet she continued to serve the church by sending out birthday cards to the church family.
