Mrs. Charlotte Ann Fisher Black, age 69, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

She was born February 25, 1950, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Earl and Hazel Fultz Fisher.

Charlotte attended Dry Branch Church of God and Soldier Church of God and was employed by Packs Inc. in Morehead, Kentucky for over 40 years. She enjoyed cooking meals, taking vacations with her family and friends and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Kathreen Evans Fisher and one sister, Mary Lee Hamm.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Black; one son, Charles Phillip Jr. (Melissa) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter, Mary Melissa Duvall (Gary) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Travis Duvall (Stephanie), Samantha Duvall (Derek), Dustin Black (Brooke), and Hannah Black; three great grandchildren, Myles Dean Duvall, Mila Drue Duvall and Luka Brooks Black; one brother, William Earl Fisher of Morehead, Kentucky; and one sister, Rosalie Thomas of Morehead, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2020, at Soldier Church of God in Soldier, Kentucky, with Brother Byron Hargett, Brother Tippy Price and Brother Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020, and after 9 a.m. on Sunday at Soldier Church of God in Soldier, Kentucky.

Kevin Brown, David Price, Spencer Price, Landon Price, Mark Burton and Bill Bradley will serve as pallbearers. Brian Brown and Mike Jessie will serve as honorary pallbearers.
