Mr. Joseph W. Williams* died on Monday morning last at his home, near Cedar Grove, aged 52 years. Surviving him are his wife,* two sons* and two daughters. The funeral took place at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist Church at Cedar Grove. Mr. Williams was a lifelong resident of this county and prominent farmer.

ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 19 --- funeral services for Joseph F. Williams, prominent farmer of Cedar Grove, this county, who died yesterday morning, aged sixty-two years, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Methodist Church, at Cedar Grove. The services will be in charge of Damascus Council, Junior Order United American Mechanics, of which organization Mr. Williams had been a member for years.
Mr. Williams was a lifelong resident of Montgomery county. he is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Ira Mullinix, Mrs Godfrey Snyder, Charles and Norman Williams. He also left two brothers, Thompson and Somerset Williams and a sister, Mrs. William Watkins.
