Elizabeth C. Margason, 60, died at her home, 914 Cedar Street, at 3 o'clock, Oct. 26, 1924 in Rockford, Illinois. Born May 15, 1864, in Covington, Kentucky, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Tyree) Bain. Married John Daniel Margason in 1879 in Woodford County, Kentucky. She had resided in Rockford for the last 16 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Mattie Binney, South Bend, Ind.; Mrs. Elizabeth Mills, Hartford City, and Mrs Lockie Jane McDonald, Mrs. Melissa Black and Mrs. Lucy L. Welch of Rockford; three sons, James, Harry and Charles Margason, Rockford, and 18 grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters and four brothers in Kentucky. Funeral will be held this afternoon, Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1924 at 2:30 p.m. at the residence and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
