When we think of her, we will remember a woman who was a fierce Prayer Warrior who lived her life in a way that was pleasing to the Lord. She was kind, loving, and compassionate and will be missed on this earth every day, but we will take comfort in knowing that she has now has a perfect body and is praising our Lord and Savior while breathing with ease in His Heavenly Presence.
She was preceded in her journey to Heaven by her parents Joe and Flora Hamby, sister Judy Gail Gibson, sister Helen Stanley Sweetin, brother Joseph Carlton Hamby and nephew Michael Sweetin.
She is survived by her children, Grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren with one on the way, siblings and spouses.
Carolyn's going home celebration will be February 1, 2020, at Collier Butler Chapel.
