Their son Vojtech (Albert in English), left for the New Prague, MN area on the ship "Main" arriving in NY on 6-Dec-1880. In the 1885 Minnesota census, Vojtech was living in Cedar Lake, Scott County next door to his cousin Mathias, son of Jan's brother, Vaclav Sirek. By 1894 Albert and Katerina were living in Perth Township, Walsh County, North Dakota.
Two daughters of Jan & Anna also went to America: Marie (Kouba) and Anna (Mojha).
After Anna died, Jan married Katerina Barta on 23-Nov-1869 and had Katerina 1872-1872, Frantisek 1873-1873, Frantisek 1876-1876, Rosalie 1878-1878, Katerina 1881, all while the family continued to live at house #71 in Novosedly. Katerina Barta was daughter of Jan Barta of Novosedly (#56) and Maie Lapice of Novosedly (#59).
