Eleanor Murphy, 91, of Imboden, formerly of Biggers, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.

She was born October 31, 1928 in Belton, MO to the late Guss T. and Laura Tannehill Neely. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Guss and Laura Neely; husband, Ralph Junious Murphy; son, Ralph Daylon Murphy; and three brothers, Marion Neely, Eldon Neely, and Darrell Neely.

She is survived by one son, Gevan (Sharon) Murphy of Imboden; two daughters, Ilagene (Paul) Higginbottom of Ash Flat, and Franchelle (Gary) Brown of Conway; eight grandchildren, Brandon (Elizabeth) Murphy of Pocahontas, Aaron (Beth) Murphy of Imboden, Peyton (Caroline) Murphy of Glen Rose, Laura (Josh) Wells of Cave City, Andrea (Adam) Gann of Batesville, Austin (Lea) Brown of Conway, Ean Brown of Conway, and Claire Brown of Conway; twelve great grandchildren, Ava, Kylee, Luke, Taylor, Jett, Audrey, Clara, Jake, Gus, Molly, Cora, and Lydia; one sister, Frances Hewett of Brookland; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 10 AM – 12 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral beginning at 12 PM. Family members will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hite Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Murphy, Aaron Murphy, Peyton Murphy, Austin Brown, Ean Brown, Josh Wells, and Adam Gann.
