On Saturday, January 25, 2020, loving husband and father of seven children, Kenneth A. Lindsey Sr., passed away at the age of 78.

Ken was an avid car enthusiast and cherished his 1946 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. He loved spending time with his family, being outdoors and working on numerous projects around his home. He had a quick wit and sense of humor with an infectious laugh, was kind, caring and loved by all that knew him. He served in the Air Force for a short time, was an owner/operator of his own trucking company for many years and enjoyed his retirement years in both Maine and Florida.

The family would like to thank our cousin Skip Green, who loved our Dad dearly and was there with him when we couldn't be; Donna Burbar, who looked after Ken and his beloved dog Benji; along with Sherri Reardon and all the wonderful caretakers at Northern Light Home Care and Hospice who looked after him during his illness.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy and son James; he is survived by six of his children, Kenneth Jr. in Wells, ME, Debra Santoro and husband John in Seffner, FL, Mark and wife Laurie in Homosassa, FL; Christine in Wells, ME, Joseph and wife Hiroko in Wells, ME and Thomas in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; along with his numerous grandchildren.

At his request, there will be a memorial service held in the spring; and his ashes will be scattered throughout the mountains he loved in Maine. (Riposta Funeral Home and Bangor Daily News)
