Sebastian Graff was a clerk Capt. Wm. Weybright's Company, in the 8th Battalion, Lancaster County Militia, commanded by Col., James Ross on a tour of duty in Lancaster for the purpose of guarding prisoners of war. He also was a First Lieutenant in Captain Andrew Graff's Company, Lancaster County Militia.

Joined in on the Revolutionary War on 16 July 1776, serving as a First Lieutenant with brother Andrew Graff's company.

1787 a delegate to the State Convention, which ratified the Federal Constitution.

1789 elected a member of the State Convention, which framed the State Constitution of 1789.

1790 with Michael Schmyser & Adam Hubley Jr, represented Lancater County at the State Senate.

Was originally buried in Lancaster Moravian Church's graveyard, but later moved to Lancaster Cemetery, where he now rests.
