Ira M. Albright

HANOVER – Ira M. Albright, 94, formerly of Fair Avenue, Hanover, died at 11:08 a.m. Friday at Hanover Hall Nursing Home. He was the husband of Annie S. Fuhrman Albright.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with burial in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery in Brodbeck. The viewing will be Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Born in Manheim Township, York County, he was the son of the late Amos V. and Alice Miller Albright.
Mr. Albright was a retired farmer. He also was retired from Schumck Lumber Company, Hanover. He was a lifelong member of St. Jacob's (Stone) United Church of Christ, Brodbeck, and its Sunday school. He was a past church elder, deacon, and treasurer for 19 years. He was a former judge of elections for Manheim Township and past secretary of its school board.
Mr. Albright also is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Werner, Thomasville, and Mrs. William Senft, Spring Grove RD 2; a sister, Anna Walker, 911 York St., Hanover; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren.
