A native of Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late (OJ) Oscar Williams and the late Leona Hendricks Williams. She was a Special Information Youth Counsel with Mecklenburg County, Charlotte, and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Ellis Cross and her husband, Charles, of Charlotte; a granddaughter, Crystal Cross Hamilton and her husband, Tony, of Charlotte; a great-granddaughter, Keira N. Hamilton of Charlotte; a step-brother, Huey Parker of Gaffney; and a step-sister, Juanita Gordon of Gaffney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Larry Williams, Garland Williams and Edward Williams; and sisters, Lois Robertson, Inez Davis, Ethel Dickson and Lucille Cole.
Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
