He was born March 26, 1943 to his parents, the late Phillip and Margaret Silvia Phillips.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Phillips. Mr. Phillips worked at Federal Mogul in Smyrna.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Frazier of Murfreesboro, and Rebecca Phillips of Arizona; grandchildren, Austin Frazier, Jacob Frazier, Chaice Phillips; great-grandchild, Jahmir Hopson.
The family has chosen direct cremation and there will be no services held at this time. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements
