Mrs. Felicitas Estlinbaum Rites to Be Held Monday
Solemn High Mass of Requiem Will Be Celebrated
Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning for Mrs. Felicitas Kallfelz Estlinbaum, wife of Fred Estlinbaum, and for many years active in women’s Catholic societies, who died at her home, 316 South Orchard Road, Thursday, after a long illness.
Rites will be held at 8:45 A.M. at the home and a solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated at 9:30 o’clock in Saint Joseph’s (German) Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Bearers will be John Savage, Ambrose Kinally, James Lawlor, Charles and Carl Kallfelz and Walter Kennedy.
Born in Syracuse, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kallfelz, she had lived her entire life in this city. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph’s (German) Church and a member of its altar and Rosary Societies, and a member of Branch 36, L. C. B. A.; the Catholic Women’s Union and the Crouse-Irving Hospital Auxiliary.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Fred Estlinbaum, Jr.; a daughter, Miss Betty Estlinbaum; her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Kallfelz; a brother, Albert J. Kallfelz; two sisters, Mrs. Clemens H. Straub and Mrs. Carl J. Batcharie, and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Louise Estlinbaum of Simi, Calif. A brother, the late Carl J. Kallfelz, a member of the Syracuse Fire Department, died last year.
