Donald "Don" Edward Dupree, age 79, of Hayden, was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ann Dupree, and his son Donald Edward Dupree, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Dupree; sister, Ann Lee Robinson; daughters, Deanna Dupree, Caroline Blackerby (David), and Harriet Mantini (Bill); sons, Gil Burnett and Michael Burnett (Caroline); grandchildren, Alan Blackerby (Jordan), Dustie Stavos (Bobby), Hannah and Isabelle Mantini, Caleb and Connor Burnett, Seth Blackerby; great-grandchildren, Lakelyn, River, and Banx Stavos, Wyatt Blackerby; nephew Lloyd Robinson (Gigi); great nephew, Aiden Robinson; and a host of family, friends, and church family.

He loved the Lord, his family, old cars and Alabama football, ROLL TIDE! He moved to his dream home on Smith Lake in 1995, Don retired from Best Foods in 2000 after working there for 30 years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Nectar, AL.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Elmwood Chapel from 4pm - 7pm. A celebration of Don's life will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11am at Elmwood Chapel, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
