Ruth was employed with Sprague Electric Co. for 43 years until her retirement in 1986 as payroll manager for all plants. She then worked as a consultant for one year in Mansfield, MA.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and had served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Ruth was a member of the Sprague Quarter Century Club; Sprague Management Club and the Williamstown Women's Exchange. She was a longtime volunteer at Mass MoCA and North Adams Regional Hospital.
Survivors include her nephew and his wife. Her brother, Russell Yarter died in 1993.
