The youngest son of William T. and Isabelle V. (Roe) McGinnis;
brother of Samuel, Daniel, Laverna, and Madlyn.
Graduate of Tunnelton High School , Preston county, West Virginia- youngest member of the senior class of 1948 and the first of his immediate family to graduate.
Believed to be the last survivor of that class.
To date, the longest living male of his family.
20 year veteran of the Air Force, served during the Korean War and the Vietnam War, in both countries.
Member of VFW Post 8083.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, all his aunts and uncles,
all four of his siblings and their spouses, five nephews, three nieces,
one son, two wives, his cousins, closest friends, coworkers and classmates.
He is survived by his first wife, three children and their spouses, four stepchildren and their families, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
