Early Life: He was born June 17, 1919, Paris, Bear Lake County, Idaho, to Morris David and Beatrice Lenore Gardiner Low. He graduated from Montpelier High School.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: On March 19, 1948, he married Evelyn Ruth Stobbe in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of two daughters. His wife passed away in 2008. He attended the University of Idaho SB, the University of Utah BS, MS, and the University of Minnesota, PhD in speech pathology. He served his country between 1942 and 1945, first lieutenant, B24 bomber pilot, air medals and distinguished flying cross. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a Gospel Doctrine teacher, Scoutmaster, bishop's counselor, high councilor, bishop, stake president, temple worker, and 30 years as stake patriarch. He and his wife served as missionaries with in the California Anaheim Mission from 1984 to 1986. Throughout his life he was employed as a railroad telegrapher, an elementary school teacher in Bingham County, Idaho, he also taught at the University of Utah, University of Minnesota, San Francisco State College, Brigham Young University. He served as president of several organizations, including: Utah Speech and Hearing Association, Utah Chapter Council for Exceptional Children, Provo School Board and Utah School Boards Assocation. After a life of service, Gordon Morris Low died August 28, 2011. He was 92 years old.
