Daughter of Harlow Almon Harris and Mary Jane Pagan, wife of Edward Eaton Blakeslee, Jr. whom she married whom she married on July 5, 1916, in Brooklyn, NY, and mother of Donald Harrison, Edward Eaton, and Bruce Harris Blakeslee.


Obituary - Ocean Grove - Ada H. Blakeslee, 92, died Tuesday in her home. Mrs. Blakeslee, of 70 Stockton Avenue, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Newark for 33 before moving here in 1964. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, here. She was a former member of the Home League, Salvation Army, Asbury Park, and the Golden Age Club. Her husband, Edward E. Jr., died in 1934. Surviving are two sons, Edward E., New York City, and Bruce H., Clark Township; a daughter, Caroline Cousins, Maplewood; a stepson, Robert, Patchogue, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The Ocean Grove Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
