Evelyn McLane Kelly, 81, of 2407 Norris Highway, wife of J.D. Kelly, died July 18, 2001
Mrs. Kelly was born in Hart County, Ga., a daughter of the late O.C. and Ellen Bryant McLane Sr. She was retired from Six Mile, Pickens and Daniel High Schools, after teaching for 34 years, and was a graduate of Lander College. She was a member of Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church.
Surviving are sisters, Catherine Kell and Doris Snellgrove, both of Seneca, also Flora McClain of Red Bay, Ala.; brothers, O.C. McLane Jr. of Seneca, and H.I. McLane of Easley.
Predeceased: Brothers, Evoid McLane and Carris McLane; and a sister, Lottie White.
