Passed away Friday at Worthington Christian Village.

Son of Ben Andrew and Jean G. Landers Gardner.
Married Nola Nyjo “Jo” Brown December 8, 1946. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters Valerie (John) LaSell and Dena (Jim) Martin; son Ken (Sharon) Gardner; grandchildren Brandon LaSell, Justin Martin, Lauren France, Brittany and Veronica Gardner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Kayla LaSell and grandson Joshua Gardner.

1946 graduate of New Market High School.

Served his country during the Korean War in the United States Air Force.

Worked at R.R. Donnelley for 38 years as a machine operator, retiring in 1985, and also owned and operated Gardner’s Flower Shop in New Market.

He was a member of the Alamo Masonic Lodge 144 and the Scottish Rite.

Funeral service 1pm Tuesday, January 14 Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, Crawfordsville with Pastor Kurt Flora officiating.
Military Honors by the United States Air Force and Legion Post 72 Honor Guard will start the service followed by a Masonic Service.
Visitation 11am until time of service.
