Charles "Chuck" Beasley, Sr passed away Monday, January 6, 2020. Born on May 26, 1945 in Bishopville, SC, he was a son of the late Elton Dagnal Beasley and Ethel Mae Davis Beasley.

Chuck was proud to have served two tours in Vietnam with the Army as a Sergeant. He owned his own trucking business and then later drove for Food Lion until retirement. Chuck loved to tell a good story or joke. He adored his friends and family, was an avid outdoors-man, and loved music. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Jackie" Hodge Beasley; son, Charles "Ray" Beasley II; brothers, Elton Beasley Jr, Dagnal Beasley, Edward Beasley, Dalton Beasley, and David Beasley; and sisters, Gladys Alsbrook and Virginia Poston.

He is survived by his daughter, Debra Beasley Gallup (Brian); granddaughters, Raegan and Caroline Gallup; niece-who was like a daughter, Amber Elrod (Jason, Braxton, Harper & Hadley); sisters, Judy Lindak (John), Alice Russell, and Ann Hemingway; brother, Jack Beasley (Marlene); numerous loving cousins, nieces & nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the amazing caregivers at Carolina Gardens West Columbia & Agape Hospice House Lexington.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm Saturday January 11, 2020 in the chapel of Moseley Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will follow the service in Cypress Cemetery, Bishopville, SC.
