Holly K. White Passed away as a result of cancer on Saturday, November 10, 2018. The cancer was originally diagnosed in January of 2017.

After a short period of treatment, Holly was informed that her cancer was not considered curable. On her death, she was just twelve days short of celebrating her 81st birthday.

Holly was born, November 22, 1937 in Wyoming, Ohio. She attended the public schools there, graduating from Wyoming High School in 1955. She went on to attend Connecticut College in New London, CT. This is where she met here lifelong husband and partner, Floyd, who ws [sic] a cadet at the U.S.

Coast Guard Academy. Upon their graduations, they were married on June 5, 1959 and their marriage ended with Holly’s death. Holly and Floyd had six wonderful children; Brian White of Phoenix, AZ, Timothy White (Suzie) of Manassas, VA, Erin Masters (Barry) of Anthony, NM, Kevin White (Liz) of Petaluma, Michael White (Jackie) of St.

Peters, MO and the late Sean White (Rita Castro) of Manteca.

Cherished grandmother of ten.

She is also survived by her brothers, Brooks Wrampelmeier and Kent Wrampelmeier.

For many years, Holly devoted all of her energy into raising her family. When her children started going to school and growing up, she felt the need to work with and help other children.

To fulfill that need, she started working in the library in various elementary schools in Novato, CA. She eventually became a library clerk, a position she loved because of her closeness to the students. When Holly retired in 2000, she and Floyd moved to Bodega Harbour, CA, where they were able to play golf and watch the changing moods of the Pacific Ocean from their living room window. Just a few months prior to her death, Holly and Floyd moved to Varenna in Santa Rosa, CA to be closer to her doctors and her needed medical facilities. She remained in her casita at Varenna under the loving care of her family and the doctors and nurses of Memorial Hospice.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary Service, Friday, November 30, 2018 at 7:00 PM at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA.

Family and friends are also invited to the Memorial Mass, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Bodega, CA. Immediately following the Mass, Holly will be inurned in the columbarium at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Bodega, CA.

Donations in memory of Holly are not requested, but if you wish to honor her, may we suggest that you consider a donation to the hospice of your choice.
