Virginia Dianne Bryant; known as “Dianne,” was the last of five children born to Roy and Myrna Hilburn on December 14, 1935 in Durant, Oklahoma. She passed way peacefully in the presence of her loving family December 18, 2018 in San Francisco.
As was often the case during that time, her family traveled, finally settling in California where she graduated from Arcata High School in 1954.
Soon after graduation she moved to Santa Barbara where she met her first husband Clinton Wright.
Together they had two children, son Craig and daughter Corey.
Dianne moved to Windsor with her two children in 1965. There she met and married her second husband Dowell Bryant, who was a single father of three sons.
Dianne worked for the US Postal Service for 28 years. After retirement she enjoyed reading, crosswords, puzzles, following her soaps and spending time with her family.
Survivors include brother Roy Hilburn, son Craig Wright, daughter Corey Mason (Glenn), their children Rachel and Joseph (Olga), great-grandson Maximus, step-sons Ron Bryant (Marilyn), Dan Bryant (Kim), numerous nieces, nephews, six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren from Dowell’s Family.
Viewing, followed by a Chapel Service will be held on Friday December 28th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary, 9660 Old Redwood Highway in Windsor. Burial to immediately follow at Shiloh District Cemetery, 7130 Windsor Road in Windsor.
