MADERA - Joseph L. Toubo, 62, of Madera R.D. died yesterday morning, Dec. 1, at the Philipsburg State General Hospital.
He was born in Houtzdale R.D. Jan 16, 1913, a son of Joseph and Adolphine (Coutorioux) Toubo. He was a retired coal miner and a lifelong resident of the Houtzdale area.
He is survived by his wife, the former Eleanor Duez, and two children: Ronald of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Herbert (Marlene) VanScoyoc of Glen Hope R.D.
These sisters and brothers survive: Mrs. Blanche Sabatasso, Mrs. Columbia Nebel and Henry, all of Pittsburgh. Two step-brothers, Raymond and Armagh and two step-sisters, Shirley and Gloria, all of Pittsburgh also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mrs. Adolphine DeLattre and one brother, John.
Services will be held at the Shoff Funeral Home, Madera Thursday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Timothy Spencer will officiate and interment will be in the Brisbin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
