Mark’s hobbies included camping, river floating and attending live music events. Mark floated rivers all across the Northern Rockies and was well known among the river floating crowd. His musical tastes were wide ranging and eclectic, but he especially enjoyed bluegrass and 70’s rock. Some of his favorite bands were The Ozark Mountain Daredevils and Leftover Salmon.
Mark was proceeded in death by his mother, JeNeanne Rea Richards Woods. He is survived by his father Charles Woods and his step-mother Jan Woods of Columbus, MT, his brother Brett Woods of Billings, MT and his son Parker Woods of Bozeman, MT.
Cremation has taken place and Mark’s ashes will be spread across 3 of his favorite rivers; the Boulder River near Big Timber, MT, Alberton Gourge on the Clarks Fork River north of Missoula and the Lochsa River in Idaho.
Mark was one-of-a-kind and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
