Sharon Henry 80, of Fobb, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill. She was born on October 27, 1939 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Leonard Holmes Young and Pearl Clara Wallace Young.

Sharon was raised in Fobb where she started school and later graduated from North Phoenix High School in Arizona.

Sharon married James Lawrence Henry on November 26, 1957 in Madill and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2019.

She was a homemaker, a farmer’s wife and she worked 38 years with the Kingston Public Schools. Sharon was a dedicated Kingston Redskin fan and influenced many students during her school career. Her family was her world and she was the life of the party. Not only did she raise her own children but also welcomed her sister into her home for 3 years.

Sharon loved to travel with Lawrence and friends and watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in their activities. She loved her dog Annie and watching hummingbirds. Sharon always said she wanted to be “a memory maker.”

Services Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Chris Webb will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Willis Cemetery, Willis, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
